SALMON Health and Retirement
Senior Living and Healthcare Options Across the Full Continuum of Care
The Grand Opening of The Willows at Worcester for the public took place Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13, 2009. We thank the hundreds of you who joined us at this exciting event, as we officially opened this new community that already has enthusiastic residents!
SALMON Health and Retirement is proud to have received the 2009 Family Business of the Year Award from Northeastern University’s Center for Family Business. The award "promotes and highlights some of the great achievements of Massachusetts-based, family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs."
SALMON Health and Retirement’s communities in Natick, Northborough, Northbridge, Westborough and Worcester, Massachusetts, the culmination of more than 55 years of senior living tradition and innovation, have earned the trust and confidence of seniors and their families across New England.
Third-generation Salmon family members are actively involved in the daily operations of SALMON Health and Retirement, formerly "The Salmon Family of Services": independent retirement communities, assisted living residences, specialized assisted living with Alzheimer’s care, adult day health centers, rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers, child care centers, and senior living management and consulting services.
Since 1952, when Helen and Daniel Salmon, Sr., opened their first nursing home in Northborough, Massachusetts, the Salmons have embraced a commitment to excellence, quality of care, and genuine concern for each and every resident.
Today, the Salmons and our extended family of superbly trained and caring employees share a commitment to maintaining the highest possible comfort, meaning, and quality in the lives of those we serve.
